The mission of the Mt. Pleasant Heritage House is to bridge gaps in the education, employment, and socioeconomic well-being of community members in the Mt. Pleasant area.

The rich culture that is exemplified in the art, music, drama, and history of urban community members is the foundation of all programming of the Mt. Pleasant Heritage House.

In this endeavor, we hope to inform and encourage an appreciation of diverse people and have a better understanding of different cultures, traditions, and ways of life. Our ultimate goal is to help bridge the gap in education on global awareness and promote mutual respect for all people.
